Key Responsibilities
• Optimize PVC pipe extrusion, PVC fittings injection molding, and compounding processes.
• Stabilize temperature, pressure, cycle time, cooling, and material behavior.
• Reduce scrap, rework, startup loss, and downtime.
• Lead RCA for leakage, dimensional variation, short shot, and surface defects.
• Coordinate with maintenance and utilities (chillers, cooling, compressors).
• Support mold & die trials, new SKU introduction, and validation.
• Monitor OEE, productivity, and yield; implement improvements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years manufacturing or production engineering experience.
• Strong PVC extrusion and/or injection molding background.
• Utility understanding (chillers, cooling, compressed air).
Technical Skills
• PVC processing and manufacturing behavior knowledge.
• Extrusion lines, injection machines, molds, and dies.
• Cycle time and process stability improvement.
• Basic mechanical design for fixtures and improvements.
• CAD literacy (AutoCAD / SolidWorks) advantage.
• Lean / OEE / Kaizen familiarity.
Soft Skills & Competencies
• Structured analytical thinking.
• Hands-on shop-floor mindset.
• Clear communication and coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong ownership and CI mindset.
